Custom American Mahjong Design
Custom American Mahjong Design
Bring a personal story to the Mahjong table. BamChive creates custom American Mahjong design projects for people who want a set to carry a memory, occasion, visual world, or shared point of view. We combine original illustration, color, material detail, and practical American Mahjong playability.
Custom Mahjong, made around your story
BamChive began as a living archive of Mahjong stories: a place where traditional play meets contemporary visual language, local memory, and global inspiration. A custom project extends that idea into a set that feels recognizably yours.
Whether you are exploring a personal gift, a meaningful celebration, a group project, or a creative collaboration, we begin with the story you want the set to tell.
What can be customized?
- Theme, original illustration, and visual storytelling direction
- Tile-back artwork and color palette
- Details inspired by a person, place, memory, or occasion
- Coordinated accessories such as racks, pushers, mats, or packaging when appropriate to the project
Available options depend on the design concept, quantity, materials, manufacturing feasibility, and production schedule. We will confirm what is possible before work begins.
Our approach
Custom does not mean decoration alone. We design with the experience of play in mind: readable tile faces, coherent visual systems, material choices, and details that feel intentional at the table. The goal is a set that is both expressive and genuinely enjoyable to use.
How a custom project works
- Share your idea. Tell us the story, occasion, intended use, desired style, and any images or references that matter to you.
- Define the direction. We discuss the project scope and develop a clear visual direction.
- Confirm the details. Before production begins, we confirm the design proposal, practical specifications, and schedule.
- Bring it to life. We guide the project from design through production with attention to quality and consistency.
